JERRY BROWNING

AURORA BOREALIS

Princess

there he is
the handsome prince
who hasn’t a clue
whose hand he’s holding
but I sure as hell do

guess he gave her a kiss
one fairytale night
big freaking deal
for a taste of her love
I’d give my life

yet, I sit in the shadows
and quietly marvel
her beauty and grace
the world disappears
at the sight of her face

there she goes again
magic princess in the distance
stealing my heart as
she glides off into
neverknowingly ever after
