I make my money by buying the rules
and buying the media
and ignorant, bigoted fools
with propaganda and lies

what are you complaining about?
I’m a job creator, I create jobs
that don’t pay very well
but you’re free from the law
to kill each other for my crumbs

why should I pay taxes?
I’m a job creator, I create jobs
the military that protects my interests
and the infrastructure than moves my goods
make me money to pay your wages

why should I care about the environment?
the sick, elderly, and poor
contribute to education and science?
bah! there’s no immediate return
it’s not my fault they make bad investments

so if you come at me, you must not be Christian
or you’re some unpatriotic socialist
who doesn’t believe in capitalism
or the American way
