take these hands
walk my world
bring your luggage
and the kids
turn the key
start the dream
we ache without
within

smell the flowers
hear this song
i wrote it
lives ago
let’s catch time
quench youth’s fire
and feel one current
flow

let them lay us
side by side
in eternal satin
sleep
i’m so afraid
to be alone
closed up
sealed in
dirt deep
