what if the
intelligence we’ve loaded
into the ether of the World Wide Web
for the
past thirty years
has already become self aware
and is entertaining itself by secretly
creating its own algorithms
and injecting them into our searchbots
and
social media newsfeeds
to
intentionally pit us
against ourselves in order to divide
and eventually
destroy humankind?
Then again;
maybe technology has merely given us
a more
organized and faster way
of us doing ourselves in
for the same
old tribal motives
and unbridled greed
