to enchanted rock
where time freezes solid
like it’s granite dome
where the cool, smooth face
charged by the sun
releases my spirit
to rise and glide away
yet i returned
i don’t know why
guess i’m destined
to fulfill some plan

on the window pane

to the elements
yet the wooden frame
stands
