Slap Your Monkey

Slap Your Monkey

buy yourself a chimpanzee
when things start getting’ funky
don’t go out and wreck the town
stay home and slap your monkey
slap your monkey
slap him all around
slap your monkey
stomp him in the ground

when you’re feeling tired and blue
and jokes aren’t even funny
don’t let the pressure get to you
go home and slap your monkey
slap your monkey
slap him in the back
slap your monkey
hear the small bones crack

when your girlfriend blows it off
and you ain’t got no money
don’t take a razor to your wrist
go home and slap your monkey
slap your monkey
slap him in the head
slap your monkey
slap him ‘til he’s dead
