 BROKEN COMPASS

March 6, 1982

a clown died last night
we were feeling hyper
and cheated
for once we didn’t smile
seeing his face
in the paper

as we watch the old shows
on living color t.v.
our frowns slowly crack
turning upside down…
you left us laughing
and we all loved you j.b.
