Orion
  JERRY BROWNING

 NAKED DREAMS

Orion

a fleeting urge
to some
unfathomable
unobtainable
to others
an instinctive duty
unnatural

bah, to me
an obsessive art
and religion

stalking the shadows
i walk slow and quiet
nostrils flaring
eyes sharply focused
on the object
of raw appetite

release

relief
