Mosaic
  JERRY BROWNING

 NAKED DREAMS

Mosaic

opposite as poles
similar as twins
you and i are oneÖ
white light
the rainbow compressed

iíve walked a thousand crooked miles
youíve walked a mile
a thousand crooked ways
yet the roads intersect

iíve given and withstood
a hundred broken hearts
youíve given and withstood
a heart chipped to fragments

so, we piece the crooks and shards
into a beautiful mosaic
Picasso would envy
