let us ascend spiraling into the night sky
feel gravity loosen its harsh, bruising grip
and soar through the galaxy’s vortexed heart

let us know the real truth
not these fractured bits of information
flooding around our lost, frightened souls

let us swim in all dimensions…peer
through these kaleidoscopic illusions…deep
inside the atoms and quantum glitches

let us hear on all frequencies
past these teasing pieces of scaled vibrations
musicians use to tickle and entice our senses

let us gaze into the light beyond the veil
where prophets and philosophers claim to know
but the poet and artist in each of us feel

let me be me, all I love, and all of you
woven into the threads of time and space
outside the fabric barely touched in dreams
