Hoedown at the Robot Farm

Hoedown at the Robot Farm

CHORUS
howdy neighbors
gather ‘round
listen to that happy sound
from a planetoid
near Phicentaur
there’s a hoedown at the robot farm
a hoedown at the robot farm

there’s a band of drones on quartziphones
for the female types and the little clones
play neutron ball in the astrohall
with laser bats and magnet walls

CHORUS

watch the gelitodes spin doe-say-doe
plasmatic smiles begin to grow
they’re clappin’ clamps and slappin’ joints
young androids rubbin’ feedback points

CHORUS

see programmed pets ‘neath solar trees
eat freon pops and processed cheese
grab a carbon stick with high octane
forward bias and ease the strain

CHORUS

Great Lakes, Illinois ‘84
