Atomic Shadows
  JERRY BROWNING

 ..FOLLOWING SEAS

Atomic Shadows

tell me old man

on capital hill

what was life like

before immanent destruction

tilted the axis

of this big blue world

my generation

regrets having children

born only to dangle

at the end of the line…

and we hate you for that

not a day goes by

i don’t look to the sky

imagining the flash…

the heat…

            the shock…

                        relief
