Song of the Serpent
  JERRY BROWNING

 BROKEN COMPASS

Song of the Serpent

let me take you away little girl
let me take you to the sea
the foamy crashes in your head
can somehow set you free

let me take you away little girl
let me take you to the sky
I’ll fulfill those dark desires
all you have to do is try

let me take you away little girl
let me take you to the sun
burning fires in our bodies
condense and make us one

let me take you away little girl
let me take you back to earth
Jesus feeds his somber flock
but I quench a woman’s thirssssssst
