Let’s Run

 BROKEN COMPASS

Let’s Run

my soul soars miles away from here
but my heart-string’s in your hand
my love’s as deep as a crystal sky
and as endless as grains of sand
my wealth lies in the words in my head
my ambition’s to always be free
if you still love me for what i am
grab-hold and run with me

run with me thru fields and forests
run with me thru coal black nights
run with me o’r hills and valleys
i’ll run until i die
let’s run until we die

i can show you things you’ve never seen
like the wonder in a blade of grass
and lands you reach within your dreams
or thru the razored edge of a looking glass
we can travel down rivers of music
empty into the unknown sea
on time’s unsinkable raft of love
grab-hold and run with me

run with me to paradise lost
run with me to the sacred pyre
run with me into the prism’s face
i’ll run until i die
let’s run until we die
